CALEO - Muenchen

I took a taxi to the restaurant extra late in the evening for almost The reservation was for late in the evening, but you could still make a reservation! To be on the safe side, I wanted to call the restaurant again to make sure there was still food there. Unfortunately nobody answered the phone there. When we were there, we were eyed strangely. At some point the waiter came and said the boss wasn't there and that's why you hadn't seen our reservation. What I found worst, however, was that he picked up his cell phone while we were talking. You just don't do that, and I don't think that's a serious apology

The place was fine, very few vegeterian options for my friend. Food was wholesome but simple, more expensive than you'd expect. The place was quiet no one was sitting in the restaurant or front out door tables this meant there wasn't much ambience

There were two of us at CALEO and we enjoyed it very much. Amazingly, the shop was quite empty on a Wednesday night before a public holiday. The food was very good. First we had an asparagus cream soup, then Iberico veal cheeks and BœfLaMotte. I only found the side dumplings to be deficient. It tasted like the commercially available finished product. Otherwise everything was great and the service was very courteous

We ate excellent yesterday evening, the beef fillet as good as I have never eaten anywhere, exactly as ordered. Excellent wine list and wine recommendation. Service and boss very friendly. Will definitely come back on my next trip to Munich
