We were more than ready for some delicious food and refreshing beer after a walk over 10,000 steps in this special city. Simply the best - a traditional, fantastically decorated venue with excellent service. Very recommended! View all feedback.
Today we traveled to Munich's city centre and were looking for something to eat. According to Kiwikatze, we decided to return here. We've been through so many times, but never got in. There are two areas, once the beer hall and once the area with tablecloths. It is located in the pedestrian zone more towards Stachus. At the entrance there is a step, the toilets are located in the beer hall. The other region results in a passage which is increased by 3 stages. Parking in the middle of Munich is of course not possible. Service We were greeted by a lady and accompanied to a table. The cards are already on the table and you can choose before the waiter comes. These wearing white shirts and black trousers and the ladies are dressed with dirt. The Lord came to the table and asked the drinks. We hadn't looked around, but ordered two soft wheat. We assumed that it was in Augustin Keller, a traditional brewery industry. He said we didn't do it as alcohol-free only Clausthaler. The drinks came fast, the salads were served in advance, the food at the same time at the table and he wished us a good appetite. Then he was no longer seen. Then I took the lady from the sideline to order a spoon. After we sat in front of empty plates for some time, he came back and asked us if it had cost and if we still want a dessert. The empty glasses were quickly noticed and asked if something else could be brought. We ordered the bill, this came fast, he wished us a nice Sunday and went friendly. Not so good service first, he got better at the end, 3 stars. Food The menu has a sliding lid with an old picture of the restaurant on it. There is also a daily map. There's a way through everything. We ordered a light wheat 0.5 l 4, € and a Cola Mix 0.4 l 4,20 €, the Goulash brewery from the cow from the pre-alpenland, cooked with our valuable material, with root vegetables, semmelknödel and herbal salad 13,80 € and the plate meat “Munich Art” from the shallow beef tenderly served with fresh mackerel. Drivers friendly they are not straight when you look at the price and quantity for the soft drink. We can't find it right. The plate meat was very delicate and you could crush it without knives, taste class in a delicious broth. It was a bit more intense for us. The rider was rubbed fresh and had Tinder – do ramdst da D ́Nosn through”. The root vegetables were boiled to the point and had a nice taste. Here we would rather have been a few salt potatoes than the potato salad, especially because he didn't taste us so strange. He reminded us very much of a manufacturer that we always come to the feasts of the bucket. The same thing happened to us on herbal salad, but it had a little more taste and was refined with a small bacon. There is an artificial flower that we lacked, salads and pepper mills, beer lids, pebbles, menus, baskets with breaks and a dish with lots of cutlery and napkins on it. On a small table, so much cutlery, we only want to see the cutlery for the number of guests who knows who already touched them. The front area, beautiful old pension, our area not the best choice, especially as so many tables were still free. Three stars. Cleanliness At the inn there was no objection. The toilets don't go at all, especially because there is a woman who likes you if you don't put money in your plate. She could want to clean the toilets instead of pouting that you leave money. Guest room 5 stars, toilets 1 star – total price 3 stars
