Mudgee is highly rated for it's steak restaurants. We were advised to try Palate for a seafood orientated menu. I'm so pleased we did! From the moment we walked in and were greeted by Nelson (who seemed to do everything) our evening was absolutely wonderful. Serving staff we’re not masked. Not offered any water for table. Booked a week ahead but they had given our 2 person table away and we sat at a 6 person table. Food was plentiful but average quality and not good value for the high price. View all feedback.

Comfortable location (not far from the city center.) good food (have scallops filled with sparing, lammage and huh in speck / filled with cheese). the waitress was very polite and attentive. the chair I was sitting on was a bit gross. maybe they need to check out all the chairs are stable. will recommend to others who want to visit mudgee in the future to eat here.
