I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. My daughter and I are both vegan, so we were a bit unsure about the options available for us. We asked our waitress, who brought the chef out to show us what dishes were vegan and even made us some extra dishes that were delicious. Four of the desserts were vegan, but only one was labeled as such. The breakfast buffet was excellent, but we had to ask for advice on what... View all feedback.

I was eager for some food after a long hike, but I left the restaurant still hungry after my meal. Although it was tasty, the portion size was small and the price was expensive at $55 for dinner and dessert. View all feedback.
My spouse and I had an unforgettable night at Alpine Restaurant. The buffet dinner was a culinary delight, with a wide variety of dishes to suit every palate. The seafood selection, in particular the prawns and clams, was exceptional. What truly made this experience stand out was the outstanding customer service we received all evening. A sincere thank you to the staff at Alpine Restaurant for making our visit so memorable!
We recently dined at the dinner buffet and were extremely impressed with the outstanding customer service, the cleanliness of the restaurant, and the quality of the food! The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, which truly enhanced our dining experience. We recommend arriving early, between 5-5:30pm, to secure the best seats with the most scenic views, as the restaurant tends to be busiest between 6-7pm. The food selection was excellent, offering a variety of fresh seafood (prawns, mussels, clams), delicious meats (beef, lamb), a wide selection of main dishes, healthy vegetables, various types of salmon, salads, cheeses, and delectable desserts. We were impressed by the range and quality of the dishes, making it well worth the price. Special thanks to Jedd, Pemba, and Abraham for making our dining experience extra special!
In Mr. Cook Village, there are not many dining options available, so we had low expectations when we decided to visit based on the reviews. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and stunning views! The service was top-notch as well. While the prices are on the higher side, the location and limited options justify it. If you arrive hungry and fully enjoy their menu selection, it is well worth the cost.
Went for their buffer dinner at 65nzd pp. Booked early session around 5pm ish with seating beside windows great view. Consider worth as it is quite remote with decent amount of good foods to choose from. Salmon scallops prawn mussels clams chicken beef lamb fish, almost complete. Highly recommended place for dinner
Only had a Panhead here but she was cold and delicious, and drunk in front of a view so gorgeous it'll make your eyes water.
