Cafe is short of staff at this time so menu super limited (see pic). Would not stop here for lunch if you can help it. Muffins are decent. However the shop next to the cafe has interesting quality souvenirs and staff is super helpful. View all feedback.

Probably the best place to get a good coffee near Mt Cook (rather than going to Hermitage for coffee). Tasty hot cross bun. Beautiful view. Service was a little slow but I think it’s because a few people arrived at the same time.
We were originally going to eat at Mt Cook, but we hadn't checked that it was available. Turns out that morning there was a function. Oh well. We turned around and went back to Glen tanner where we'd stayed the night. The Tasman Delta Cafe was on site, with brekkie getting started. We ordered a big breakfast and it was... big, hearty and filling. It gave us the sustenance for the climbing we'd be doing that day. Being on the road, the Tasman Delta Cafe gave us an option where we'd otherwise be hungry that day.
For those who said this cafe is not good. I disagree. In the middle of nowhere. $17 for fish and chips. Good coffee. There is no complaints.
Really lovely little cafe on the way to Mount Cook. Staff are super friendly and even remembered our coffee order when we came back the next day. Amazing to watch the helicopters taking off and the views from outside area towards the mountains so much so we booked a helicopter trip then and there! Staff were so helpful and we had an incredible flight that afternoon. Highly recommend.
