What suep doesn't like about Di Matteo's Pizza:
Food was tasteless, sloppy and meat was bad. Last three times in the last 3 months. Never again will I order from this restaurant. Horrible!!! Don't deserve the 1 star. View all feedback.
I had the eggplant parm sub, it was a bit dry. I asked for a little bowl of tomato sauce to dip it in. The girl said 2.50 I said Never coming back again And to think, I tipped her when I prepaid 2.50
The eggplant parm is made without the skin. The red sauce is delightful. The chicken parm pizza roll is large enough for 2 to 3 people. The pasta is
Their food is soooo good and all the ladies at the take out are super friendly and efficient. I'm so glad I discovered DiMatteo's a few months ago.
How I've Missed Out on THIS RESTAURANT I CAN'T SAY! My Husband Brought Me A HUGE Slice , w Sausage, Bacon, Onion, and Ricotta !!! OMG!!! I took 2 Settings to Eat it, ABSOLUTELY THE BEST IVE TASTED IN NEW HAVEN !!!
Last night we had two large pizzas (chicken pesto and Hawaiian) Sadly, both pizzas were tasteless and boring. The cheese was very bland/ insipid, plastic cheese? Additionally, the pizzas' bread was chewy and sad. It felt we were eating cardboard. No flavor at all!In contrast, the frozen $7 pizzas from the supermarket are so much better, especially the 4-cheese options. Frozen pizzas are a better choice to avoid the rip-off at Di Matteo's Pizza.
