Quaint little restaurant with a great view of the trout dam through the giant glass windows. The food was tasty and prices were extremely reasonable. A great halfway stop if you're on your way to another destination. There is also a nice little store next door where you can buy fresh trout, farm foods, assorted necessities and souvenirs. What Christan B doesn't like about Milly's:
At very best average food. Discretion on the menu is trout fillet, end up being a few cooked trout ribbons. Cost more than it should. Service friendly and efficient. View all feedback.
The food is at best average. I opted for the trout fillet, but it turned out to be just a few strips of cooked trout. The prices are higher than they should be. On a positive note, the service was friendly and efficient.
Food was so so, the trout pie wasn't that great but the vegan food was apparently good. Coffee was bad so I'd refer the nearby coffee shop instead. Service was also so so with a wrong order but corrected quickly. The vibe of the place is very nice with a trout dam surrounding the restaurant and you can apparently buy food for them.
Can't complain. A must stop on the way to the Kruger. The trout pie is a must. So relaxing to look out onto the dam and see the fish jumping and nature at it's best. Wide variety of food to choose from and lovely coffee to have with big mugs!
Fantastic stopover. A breathtaking view. I enjoyed my customised breakfast. Welcome staff.
Great place to stop for a quiet but delicious meal. The staff is a mixed bag, some really quite friendly, others a little indifferent. Can get pretty full on busy weekends, but the trout pie and the berry cheesecake are worth the wait! Pro tip: ask for the specials.
