The worst meal I have ever experienced whilst visiting the UK. Ordered the fillet steak to share and asked for a second plate and was refused. There policy is they do not give out another platethe steak was order medium and came out medium rare at best with no caramelisation, chips were soggy, hard tomatoes and peas microwaved. Meal was very nice and tasty, but eating could have been warmer. with the sweet again, sirup pudding was delicious and beautiful, but again came on the table not very hot.
Staff and food both fantastic, there was 11 of us and all the food came out together and was still hot, definitely go again the view just topped it off
Very nice place, very quiet time of day we went in (4pm on a Monday) so no Social Distancing issues. Lovely food too we had a steak onion baguette, chips salad beautifully cooked served. Staff very nice attentive too. We'll certainly revisit!
Lovely Inn, warm and welcoming. Nice food and drinks at reasonable prices. Fantastic views overlooking the Cheshire plains. A lovely outside seating area. As advertised completely dog friendly. A carpark at the side. This is a gem for walkers and also for anyone looking for a cosey evening. Popular with the locals who are friendly and welcoming.
