This place is on the expensive side, even during their happy hour, but they were great! We split the chorizo dip which was amazing, and I had the arugula salad which was great- but I would have loved some more toppings added in there. This is a bar posing as a restaurant. The food is bad. The chorizo and corn dip is all corn with chorizo really hard to find. The shrimp snd grits is boring snd flavorless. If you ask for Tobasco to spice it up, they bring you a little bowl of Tobasco which makes it impossible to dispense the sauce in a controlled way and gives you either not enough or way too much. I wasn't able to try the food yet, but the drinks and service were great. I had the tequila old fashioned.
1st time here and will return. Great upscale pub in a good location. Nice looking place Fantastic wings and good burgers. Fish and Chips was slightly greasy though. Menu can be pricey for what it is. Nice beer selection and drinks as well. Can be busy. Outdoor sidewalk seating and plenty of parking. Fantastic service.
First visit to Publick House!! Made reservations day prior- only availability was 515pm or after 8pm We arrived for 515pm OMG! The amazing aroma of deliciousness as we walked on the sidewalk to enter the restaurant! Great vibes and energy!! Warmly greeted and seated! Awesome music selection! Our Server Fred C was fantastic! He knew the menu well. Answered our questions! Appreciated his recommendations! Absolutely loved my LET'S GET FIGGY cocktail— WITH IT FIGENZA FIG VODKA, ELDERFLOWER, LEMON, CINNAMON!! Cheers!!! As we waited for our appetizers, entrees and dessert- Saw the other Servers bringing out beautifully plated food and so aromatic! Enjoyed my shrimp and grits, GNUDI FRIED RICOTTA DUMPLING, CHORIZO CORN DIP!! The truffle fries were yummy! The FLAN NAPOLITANO was the perfect ending to a wonderful dining experience! When we got our check, even though we were in the dining area- we got happy hour pricing for some of the items we ordered! Nice!! We will definitely be back!! Keep up the great service and amazing food and cocktails!!
Excellent food, really, very good selection of drinks and cocktails, and excellent service too. Only downside is that the place is small but popular (rightfully so) so it's always packed, and the noise level is quite high
Such a great and intimate restaurant/bar in Mountainside. They never dissappoint and Sara is the best! Her energy is so positive always.
