This tea spot in downtown Mountain View is a must-visit. I last visited in 2014 and remember it being spectacular (especially their roasted barley milk tea), but my recent visit earlier this month left me disappointed. The tea flavor seemed weak and the drinks tasted overly sugary. I tried two different drinks on separate occasions, but had the same disappointing experience each time. However, the boba had a good texture and level of sweetness. Keep in mind that this establishment only accepts cash payments.
This is the original boba shop for those who are familiar with it. They offer a variety of flavors, including authentic and uncommon ones, as well as different topping and hot options (perfect for the winter season). The staff is friendly and willing to give recommendations. Just a heads up, they only accept cash so make sure to bring some along!
Credit card purchases can be made now by using a reader on the wall. Paying by cash is still as usual with the cashier. Tiny little space that sells large assortment of bubble teas with toppings. Watermelon drink is delicious and served only when in season. Warm wheat germ tea is good for cold weather. Can barely sit inside, but there is outdoor seating. Ask for less sugar and your wish will come true.
I found the prices at this tea shop to be great! It's finally a reasonably priced option, the first one I've come across in three years. I ordered the Japanese Green Milk Tea and found it to be quite good. The boba were well-made and had a nice squishy texture. I'm currently at my school, so I'm not sure if you want me to stay and help or if you'd prefer to handle things yourselves. Let me know and I can come back later to assist.
My favorite place for boba in All of California. Cash only, but it?s really affordable for boba nowadays. Such a wide variety and soooo many flavors I have yet to try. I personally really enjoy the Coffee Milk Tea.
Nestled in downtown Mountain View, this boba shop stands out as a beloved destination for tea enthusiasts. While nostalgic patrons may find that the quality has fluctuated, with some reporting overly sweet and weak flavors, others appreciate its affordability compared to pricier competitors. The menu boasts a diverse range of unique flavors, including seasonal offerings, along with a pleasing texture of boba. The intimate space may limit seating, but outdoor options are available. Friendly staff are eager to recommend favorites, but be prepared for cash-only transactions or credit card payments via a wall reader.

Great prices. Every other milk tea/ boba place seems to overprice their drinks. I personally don't think milk tea and boba drinks should cost over $9 like I see everywhere else.
The rose tea was actually extremely bitter. I couldnt finish it
Almond Milk Tea: delightful essence of almond. Very flavorful and perfect afternoon sweet my favorite go to treat.
Lychee flavored tea tasted no lychee or tea : Boba was soggy
