I absolutely love this place, but the last two times I ordered, my bowls were only half-filled, if that. They were much smaller than the bowls I’ve had here before, and I’ve been a customer for years. Honestly, I’m really disappointed.
The food was good, but the portion sizes were a bit lacking! I might recommend the Santana Row location over this one.
The portion size is a bit on the small side for the price, especially since the container could have held more. However, the quality and freshness of the ingredients in the bowl were outstanding, and I especially loved the kale noodles as the base.
The food here is truly delicious. It's a bit on the pricey side for poke, but after experiencing some less impressive poke places, I think it's understandable. I also love the area—it’s nice to sit outside and enjoy the Mountain View sunshine; it made for a great lunch spot on a Wednesday. Plus, it’s convenient to grab a drink from the supermarket (although you can’t consume the alcohol you purchase there). One note to the owners: please make sure that no unsavory characters are lingering around your restrooms. There was a guy who wandered in from the alley and took far too long in there. Thanks!
I truly appreciate the staff at this restaurant! They are consistently friendly and accommodating, creating a welcoming atmosphere. While their poke isn't exactly traditional Hawaiian style—instead leaning more towards a California-style—I still think they provide some excellent healthy choices. It's great that they offer salmon as well! That said, I believe they could enhance their menu by adding a broader selection of vegetables. The food is quick and fresh, making it perfect for lunch or a fast dinner on your way home from work. Plus, if you're in a rush, you won't have to wait—you can be in and out in about five minutes!
