Kakuni pork bun is tasty with great seared crust and flavor balance. Steamed spicy dumplings also had great flavor (surprisingly authentic Chinese) although the few breached wrappers lost its 5 star review. Would definitely revisit. View all feedback.
What Nicholas Pun doesn't like about Afuri Ramen+dumpling Mountain View:
Pretty good ramen, great karaage. Quiet location with very quick service. Had the yuzu shoyu ramen. Quite light, but had a lot of yuzu flavour. The karaage was large and super juicy.Overall, not a bad spot for a quick, decently priced bite. View all feedback.
They've addressed large parts of the service issues from before abd the food is still good. Nice work!

I LOVE yuzu and evidently, so does this restaurant. A chain from Tokyo also Portland, my friend from Osaka had never heard of it. So came in with no expectations. Parking in downtown Mountain View is always a pain. Some of my friends were visiting from out of town and really wanted to check the place out. So we met there. I opted for outside seating, it was a nice day. Unfortunately, the chairs weren't super covered and they were metal chairs so... They were BAKING hot. I asked the waitress if I could swap tables and the two of us moved one of the tables into the shade and I also swapped some of the chairs so friends wouldn't leave with burns on their behinds. Most of the tables in the shade were two-seaters and we needed a four-seater. That aside, I got seated pretty quickly. For lunch time on a Sunday, this place was pretty deserted. Only 3 parties besides us. I got the yuzu tsukemen, it was a hot day so I really wanted something cold. Omg, this was delicious! I had a bit of my friends yuzu shoyu and yuzu shio broths and they were really good. The yuzu shoyu was way more flavorful than the yuzu shio. When my friends tried my dipping sauce, they were hit by the strong yuzu. We all really liked the amount of yuzu in the dipping noodles though, don't get me wrong. Overall, would return. Maybe to the Cupertino location, parking is better there.
