I won't be back. I ate here this last June. The A/C wasn't working so the dining room was hot, the servers were sweaty, and the menu prices were very high for the offerings. For $18 dollars I got frozen veggies a morsel of steak (like 4 oz) and averagefries. It would seem you have to spend $35 plus for a normal sized meal here. There are better places to eat.
Very disappointing dining experience! The chicken on my nachos was dry, tough, and flavorless. Server was not very attentive and seemed completely annoyed about having to interact with us. The pop in my drink was flat. The bathroom was seriously neglected(hadn't been deep cleaned in quite a long time and was in need of repairs/upgrades). Prices were excessive for small portionsizes and poor quality.
This has been an off week for service in general it seems for most places we have been. That being said the service was not poor but left room for improvement. The food was excellent. The steak was done exactly as requested with great flavor. The lobsterwas delicious. The server was pleasant. We were checked on enough to have what we needed but not so much that we were bothered. Our ticket had charges for items we did not order or receive so that had to be corrected. We waited for longer than seemedreasonable for our server to come back to pick up the payment after the check was placed on the table but an apology for thewait was given. 4 out of 5 because it was not excellent but it was good. We will go back again.
Server service, and their respective customer interaction, is fantastic! The food was tasty and was promptly served. Plus, prices were quite acceptable, compared to other local establishments (one local place also visited has a required tip for cooks, etc. Really??! Certainly recommend Adventures Restaurant!
It was okey. The ayce cod was a great deal, we had it grilled or baked however they did it. That was fine. My only issue was my daughter ordered it fried and we were told it came with coleslaw and fries. When my huband and I ordered it we 'assumed the same. ' I get my dinner and was sooo 'confused. ' There were two smashed potato pattes and 'HEALTHY green beans and carrots. ' Apparently if someone opts for grilled they are 'designated health NUTS, ' but we were not informed it would be 'any different. ' Well without 'thinking ' I expressed my surprise. When we ordered more fish the waitress brought us fries too. That was 'VERY NICE ' of her but the problem is, 70 year olds can only eat so much. I am not impressed at all with smashed potato patties. That 's what I make at home from leftovers. The veggies were very 'HARD! ' I didn 't like them at all, so I realize some people might 'LOVE ' those options but for 'SURE ' everyone should be told what they will get, I mean it 's usually a 'no brainer ' coleslaw, not HARD veggies come with fish.
