Wow. what a meal. We had the crumbed mussels entree. And Mains we shared crumbed Scotch fillet and Snapper Fillet. Seriously great meal the best for a long while, Delicious food highly recommended. One recommendation to heat the restaurant a bit more turn that heat pump on as was quite a cold winter night.

Out of the hundreds of restaurants and thousands of dishes I've had around the world, Copia sits as one of the most memorable meals I've ever had. I cannot stress enough the attention to detail every dish expresses not only in flavour, but in presentation. Even as a fine-dining skeptic, Copia is truly worth every second you spend dining there.

An Auckland gem with a spectacular setting. This was the first time for myself friends eating at Copia. The intimate atmosphere set us up for such a relaxing and inviting evening accompanied with friendly kind service. The food no doubt is the star of the show. The selection, presentation, professionalism, flavours, and prices makes Copia deservant of another visit in the near future. Thanks for a great evening. P. S. The sour dough bread is to die for!!!

After much anticipation, I got to lunch at Copia and try some of the seafood dishes. The restaurant is beautifully lit with natural light streaming in from the picturesque seascape with the silhouette of Sky Tower in the distance. Service was very pleasant and engaging as I was fortunate to get a late table from lunch service. I was most enthused to try the paua and squid croquettes with nasturtium lime dressing and this dish was wonderful and subtle in flavour but teaming with texture. I also tried the soda bread with seaweed butter which really needed to be heated or toasted slightly to complement textures. In addition, I tried the BBQ’ed cabbage with Horopito minced pork with black garlic purée. This was a stand out dish, with much depth in umami flavour. I also trust the season potatoes which were a miss misguided recommendation and lacking a sauce I’d some sort. The highlight dish was the baby octopus with put lentil ragout and olives. This dish reminded me of a Bellota Iberian octopus dish so rich in flavour profile and exquisite! Coupled with with wonderful Pinot Noirs, I was in heaven. To finish off, I had to try the Chocolate Delice with rhubarb ice cream and cherry gel with whites chocolate and buckwheat crumb. This was a wonderful closure to my lunch albeit over indulgent in my side. The service was wonderful and I eagerly anticipate a follow up visit for dinner. My lunching experience with exceptional and it’s a excellent use of utilizing the Orakei basin as a feature backdrop. Highly recommended!
