The manager was very accommodating and ensured my meal was just right! Apologies for my earlier post.
I ordered the three-piece chicken meal to take home with me to Aurora. When I opened the box, I was disappointed to find two thighs that looked chewed on and a leg, instead of the breast, leg, and wing I was expecting. The coleslaw was off, and the potatoes were too runny. It was the worst meal I've ever had, and I ended up throwing it in the trash. I'm very dissatisfied!
I’m from Monett and thought KFC would be a nice option since we no longer have one here. So, I drove to Mt. Vernon to pick up dinner. I ordered the $20 fill-up deal, which is a special they currently have, and asked to add four extra legs because my son and husband enjoy them. The total came to $30.30, which I paid without issue. However, when I got home, I found that I only received four legs in total, not the extra ones I had ordered. They charged me an additional $7.99 for those legs, yet they were nowhere to be found! Plus, the chicken didn’t have the original crust at all. Overall, I won’t be making the drive back there again. I also tried calling them multiple times, but every time I attempted to speak, they picked up and hung up right away. Fast food employees want to earn $15 an hour, but experiences like this are exactly why I’m against it. Good service seems nearly impossible to find these days!
I ordered the three-piece chicken meal to take with me to Aurora. When I opened the box, I was disappointed to find two legs, one of which had a bite taken out of it. I had expected a breast, a thigh, and a wing. The chicken was greasy and stained. The potatoes were mediocre at best. This was the worst meal I've ever had. I ended up throwing it in the trash. I'm very dissatisfied!
I won't be returning there again. I also tried to call the restaurant multiple times, but every time someone answered, they hung up on me right away. It's frustrating because fast food workers are asking for $15 an hour, and honestly, experiences like this are exactly why I can't support that. Good service seems hard to come by these days!
