What User doesn't like about Mount Uniacke Pizza:
I don't write any bad criticism at all! But the three of us got food poisoning after eating a meat lover pizza and garlic fingers. I ate the food 4 hours later. pure and completely apart! The whole house keeps sick View all feedback.
You won't find another establishment that's as community oriented as this one. This single business also runs the school cafeteria in the town. Have you ever gone to a pizza place where they know your name? I think this is one of those few places where that's possible. The food is pretty standard for a pizza place, but that's what I expect when I come here so it fits my expectations. The service is lovely as this is not just a job for most of their employees; it's their livelihood.
Lots of health department violations about them posted on NS health site over past couple years. I no longer go here but I used to.
If you like a traditional pan pizza this is the place for you. If your super hungry try one of the calzones, they are huge and amazing! Interior is old and outdated, but I'm not going there for a date, just good pizza!
Friendly service and delicious food. Donair pizza is by far the best here. The works pizza is OK, but nothing to write home about. Maybe it's the sauce, but there is something that makes it not my favorite.
I haven't lived in Mount Uniacke for several years, but I can definitely say that this was always great place to order pizza from. Despite the fact that they only had (I think) two other local pizza joints to compete with, they still strove for high quality pizza. Pizza was always wonderfully cheesy from Uniacke Pizza, and they never failed to do something I love that more pizza joints need to do... they stuck that delightful little ball of dough in the middle. Awesome. If you're passing by Mount Uniacke or visiting someone who lives there, this is the place to go for pizza.
