The fish was great, the fries not so much. They were julienned (not my preference) and seemed like they were reheated. If the fries were given a bit more attention, this would be a great fish chip shop. Very basic interior, but you’re not there for the decor. Very friendly staff. Will try it again. View all feedback.
What Harry Schröder doesn't like about Sydelle's Fish and Chips:
I tried this restaurant for the first time, and it will be the last. We had the worst Fish and Chips we've had in years - they were soggy, greasy, and awful. I do not recommend this place at all. View all feedback.
The fish and chips at this restaurant were fantastic. They weren't greasy and the fries were homemade and fresh. The service was friendly and attentive, just as good as the food.
Looking for a quick take out and the reviews were good for this place. Absolutely wowed by the great welcome, speedy service and great food. Will definitely return,
Stopped for lunch at their new location (had to move due to fire). Atmosphere basic at best but the quality of food second to none. Fresh fresh fish lots of other section. Staff is courteous and cheerful. Local fare at its best!!!!!

I stumbled upon this hidden gem by accident and was pleasantly surprised. Like many small, unassuming restaurants, the food was outstanding. Despite passing by it numerous times without noticing, the packed parking lot indicated that it must be good. I tried the lightly battered fish and home fries, which were delicious. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, they were only offering a limited menu of fish and poutine for takeout orders, but the service was still friendly, fast, and efficient. I can't wait to return and try their full menu once things are back to normal.
