This is a constant family restaurant of the best quality. I moved to Mount Shasta in 1955, and The Piedmont is the best place to have a great, high quality meal with friendly service and fair prices since. Piedmont is a shortening of the Italian Piedmonte, chosen by the family. Try the Filet Steak. I doubt you can finish it and I know you'll never forget it! My wife and I have been thriving several times a year in Piedmont for over 15 years. The food was always great with very generous portions. Tonight we were both disappointed. They have removed their signature filet mignon from the menu, so I ordered a rib eye rarely. It was hard and well cooked until medium/medium. The fries were not as usual.
