Delicious dinner in Dunsmuir! First time in the town on our way to Bend and we stopped for dinner here. Got the house made fettuccine pasta Bolognese and I requested a vegetarian pasta and the chef made a Cacio e Pepe. It was very good! Not huge portions but filling enough, and the bread was delicious. Dessert and appetizer was great too. View all feedback.
What Erik H doesn't like about Café Maddalena:
The menu was short, but everything was good. Our server was marginal at best. She made several mistakes through the meal and didn't really seem like she was having a very good time. DUNSMUIR is a quaint town and the cafe is in a cute part. View all feedback.
We tried this place on a Friday night. everything was fantastic. from the hummus plate, olive, mush, butternut queue, beet salad.
We were near the railroad resort and were looking for a place that was small enough and had a small menu. we're lucky, our sweet hostess.
Here we go again. had another nice evening with my wife in this really excellent restaurant. the kitchen crew under the guidance of barry continues up.
Delicious food, high end, but cozy atmosphere. very attentive waiting staff
The first time in caffe maddalena. I brought my wife and our baby to the Mother's Day. first we noticed that all the table paper had over the table cloth and the tables were padded. it felt like eating a bed in medical practice. the service was ok. waitresses were attentive. we ordered saw from asperagus suppe it was quite good) and the pesto pizza for a starter. pizza wasn't so good. I had ordered the steak, and my wife ordered the pork. the two most expensive dishes) the glazes on the meat were good. but the pork bell was harder than it should be, and the steak was rare instead of medium rare as I had ordered. the steak came with a soak that had no taste, that were in order, and four pieces of spade that was also tasteless. the pork bell came with potatoes that was good, but had spinach on top that was over boiled and too salty. all together we paid $139 with tip for a meal that I could have just cooked to house. I expected much more quality and taste for the price. also the sections were very small. my wife wouldn't oeuvre her pigs, and that's a court she usually likes. Not sure why most reviews were 5 stars.
