Pad Thai
Description
**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**
Nestled in a cozy corner, this Thai restaurant offers a vibrant atmosphere, highlighted by impressive saltwater fish tanks. Diners often rave about the flavorful dishes, particularly the Pad Thai and Panang curry, enjoyed for their quality and generous flavors. However, inconsistent service and frustrating operational hours mar the dining experience. While some patrons lament small portion sizes and occasionally oily dishes, others commend the friendly staff and quick service. The lunch specials are particularly lauded for their value. Overall, this spot remains a beloved choice for Thai cuisine, provided diners check hours and manage expectations.

I was in the area and wanted to try some Asian cuisine, so I decided to check out this restaurant. The food was quite nice and delicious, with plenty of options on the menu. The ambiance has a somewhat outdated vibe, but the service was excellent and prompt. However, I noticed that the dumplings were heated in the microwave, as the inside was still cold while the outside was hot.
The decor is relaxing and cheery. They have two beautiful saltwater fish tanks. One about 150 gallon and one about 20 gallons. That's the good part. Now comes the food. I had lunch there..I had soup, spring roll and entree. Soup... Far too much lemongrass. It had a odd flavor. Doing roll... Fantastic! Great flavor and texture. The entree... Curry chicken rice. Extremely oily, low on flavor and VERY little chicken. Worst I've ever had honestly.
I got my order pad Thai is ok but 12$ chu chee shrimp only 6 pieces shrimp?! That is huge different in dinning dish when I look up image!
I was so disappointed with the serving size that they gave me for my Beef Panang curry order. The dish only had like 6 very small cuts of beef and a few sliver slices of red bell pepper. The dish was priced at $12.00 and for almost the same cost I can get a buffet lunch at Cuisine of India just across this establishment. Unfortunately, they don’t have a buffet at the time I went to eat and it was a big mistake going to this place. In fairness, the panang curry sauce was good and very generous in portion size but i didn’t order a bowl of soup. I don’t normally write bad reviews of a place but I hope the owners would reconsider their portion size or at least make it up with other “cheaper” ingredients like mushrooms, etc.
