Description
**Dining Experience at Mounties RSL Club: Mixed Reviews**
Nestled within the Mounties RSL Club, this bistro provides a mix of dining experiences. While many patrons praise the fish and chips, widely regarded as some of the best, and perfectly cooked steaks, others report inconsistent quality, citing overcooked dishes and stale seafood. Complaints of slow service, particularly with larger groups, have arisen, leading to disappointment alongside the otherwise pleasant atmosphere reminiscent of classic film scenes. While lunch specials are viewed as decent, some feel the main menu is overpriced for the quality received. Overall, the restaurant offers a varied experience, balancing commendations with critiques.

Went and had lunch with my best friend we had our usual Satay Chicken Skewers its really nice n tad spicy we go every friday for our lunch
Quite disapponted with the service we had a total of 13 guests however it took over an hour to receive all the dishes from the first guest receiving there dish we questioned it numerous times to be shrugged off finally they admitted to forgetting some of the dishes and offered complimentary coffee i havent been there over the last few years but this time wasn't good
The lunch specials from Monday to Friday are decent, but the steaks tend to be a bit tough and dry. I find the main menu slightly overpriced considering the quality can be inconsistent. During this visit, we ordered the Chicken Parma and seafood basket, which I thought were just okay. Triglav in Bosley Park, which is also owned by Mounties, offers better bistro-style food!
