The food seemed overpriced, likely due to the current inflationary climate. I spent $13 on a 4-Piece Chicken Box Meal, which included a medium drink and a side of mashed potatoes. I recall that coleslaw used to be included at a lower price in the past. While two of the chicken pieces were a decent size, the other two were significantly smaller, probably adding up to about the size of one standard piece. Additionally, there were no condiments available—no salt and pepper shakers on the tables—so I had to ask the overwhelmed staff at the counter for some. On a brighter note, the staff were polite and courteous, despite the busy atmosphere. They seemed genuinely committed to managing the operations well, which was a silver lining to my experience.
I would give this place zero stars if I could. The lobby is closed, and there’s no way for pedestrians to access the drive-thru. As a semi-truck driver, I'm really disappointed. They claim it's the owner's policy and suggest that we navigate our 13-foot 6-inch truck with a 53-foot trailer around to the drive-thru, only to still have to get out to place our order and pick up our food. It makes no sense. To the owner of this location, I'm really let down by how you treat truck drivers—who are essential to keeping this country running.
The meal was prepared promptly and served hot and delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed the crispy fries and all the other dishes as well.
The chicken was very fresh, hot, and tasty.. We were also given napkins and sauce with the order. What a difference from the last time we were there.
