This place is a straight hole on the wall, but the food is fantastic for decent prices. Sushi was fresh, spicy pork and rice was great and the Rahman was great. Definitely worth a stop View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Kimchi And Wasabi:
The people that work here are nice and I don't want to offend but the food is expensive and bland. I lived in Korea for three years and this tasted nothing like what you get there. I got the Korean BBQ and it wasn't sweet like I expected...just kind of like bland curry. Teriyaki Chicken smelled funny...and tasted like maybe there wasn't enough Teriyaki sauce on it or it was alittle overpowered by the meat and not rea... View all feedback.
Do not expect to find a Korean restaurant operated by Korean people in the middle of nowhere! Nevertheless, our expectation was low, but to our surprise their selection of dishes and menus were quite authentic. Serving was also fast from Korean standards? Will definitely come back for her Yookgaejang and Korean fried chicken when we travel nearby?
I had a pleasant lunch here. There were a considerable number of options and I estimated that vegetarian dishes were clearly marked on the menu. The prices were a tad high. A great experience.
We decided to try this place while on vacation and were very happy with our meal! The decor was more rustic and at first we were unsure, when the food came not only was it fast and affordable but it was so delicious! This being said we eat sushi almost weekly at home and are spoiled by some really good fresh fish so we are by no means unfamiliar with good sushi. I would say if you are in the area, make the stop!
The people that work here are nice and I don't want to offend but the food is expensive and bland. I lived in Korea for three years and this tasted nothing like what you get there. I got the Korean BBQ and it wasn't sweet like I expected...just kind of like bland curry. Teriyaki Chicken smelled funny...and tasted like maybe there wasn't enough Teriyaki sauce on it or it was alittle overpowered by the meat and not really marinated properly. I expected the food to be so good because I paid more than 40 dollars for two orders but I was kind of disappointed cause I wanted to show my mom how great Korean food is. Also I don't think you get a good sized portion for what you pay.
This place never disappoints. The sushi has to be some of, if not, the best around. Price is average compared to other locations selling sushi. However, the quality and taste is far above the rest. The owner is always super nice and takes the time to chat when she can. I'm pretty sure we will continue to visit as often as we can. If you have not tried this place you really should.
