For Mexicans, San Miguel is one of the best. It offers the classic Mex-American dining experience, but really excels in execution. I tried the chimichangas, and they were incredible—fried to perfection, something that not many restaurants achieve. The decor and ambiance were enjoyable, creating an upscale bar vibe. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my family here; it feels very welcoming. The staff was quick and attentive... View all feedback.

It's massive and it's delicious! The San Miguel burrito is tailored for a hearty appetite. It's generously packed with flavorful ingredients like beef, pork, salad, and guacamole. It also comes with a side of refried beans and rice, which might just send you straight to nap time afterward! View all feedback.
Wow! so impressed by this restaurant! the food was delicious, the staff was attentive and did not miss a beat! they were so busy (this is a great sign with all restaurants here! and well occupied. the tortillas were so fresh and the rice was the best! I live in an opposite with a tonne Mexican restaurants and their is really the best!
Enjoyable food in a very nice atmosphere. The ding on the star rating is that I absolutely HATE the taste of cilantro, as do a good number of people, and I want restaurants to list on their menu items when cilantro is used, and if cilantro is not listed on a menu item to LEAVE IT OFF! I make my choices based on whether cilantro is listed or not, and I really hate it when cilantro is added to plates when it is not listed on the menu. I'm forced to either send it back or try to pick it off (and yes I do tell the wait staff that I do not want cilantro).
My friend and I came here to eat for dinner while visiting Charleston for a few days. We sat outside with how nice the weather was. Our waiter was welcoming and polite. I got the cucumber and mint cocktail, which was refreshing and cooling in the SC heat. I ended up getting the mexican street tacos with pollo asado. They were filling and the chicken tasted superb. Only thing that knocked it down to 4 stars was that my drink came out about 15 minutes after i ordered it and I was close to being done with my meal.
Got delivered. Wanted to try a little bit of everything. First time trying. All food was hot and fresh. Not my favorite Mexican restaurant but I would definitely order from them again.
I do think that your front staff need to be trained better about how to meet new customers coming in. I went for a walk on the beach and I wanted to eat breakfast. The two upfront eyed me up and down so hard I felt uncomfortable and annoyed. I almost walked out which is a shame because I am a local. Also, your chips are really hard and too thick. They are hard to eat. I had the chorizo and eggs and the eggs tasted burnt. My waiter was a delight. Yes, it did take a little long, but that was just fine.
