Graze is an amazing little gem of a restaurant I found in Mt. Pleasant, SC. The food and atmosphere is amazing!
What a find. We were looking for somewhere to eat close to our hotel as we'd had a long drive but we didn't want to head to a fast food place. After looking at surrounding restaurants and reviews we chose Graze. I am not going to lie, I was dubious when we turned up, it's in strip mall and the windows are blacked out. DO NOT let this put you off. When you go through the door it is everything you weren't expecting when you first see it, cute interior, nice bar to the left and wonderful staff. Candice was our server as we chose to eat at the bar instead of waiting for a table. She was helpful, chatty and funny. The food was delicious, I'll go as far as to say it was some of the best we'd had on our trip (we're uk based and this was a holiday). I had the citrus chilli short rib tacos which came with a salad, hubby had the cilantro limb buffalo shrimp tacos and we shared a side of pomme frites. Everything was super tasty and if I could have eaten more or eaten it again I would have. We'll be back if we ever visit Charleston again.
What do you do when you're in Charleston/Mt. Are you pleasant? You eat in fine restaurants! My wife and I were nearby and we wanted to join us a little closer and new. We found this place and we were not disappointed. It is locally owned and not touristic. The food is great! The menu is wildly varied and specialized in small plates. Don't be stupid. The plates are not really small. We chose three to share and we were full. We also had drinks, coffee and split a dessert and our bill was significantly less than $100. A fairy in a tourist, culinary area. We'll be back.
What should you do when you're in Charleston or Mt. Pleasant? Treat yourself to some amazing dining! My wife and I were nearby and eager to discover a new local spot. We stumbled upon this treasure, and it truly exceeded our expectations. It's an independently owned establishment that isn't overrun by tourists. The food is exceptional! The menu offers a wonderful variety of choices, especially when it comes to small plates. But don't be misled—the portions are quite generous. We picked three dishes to share, and we were more than satisfied. We also enjoyed some drinks, coffee, and shared a dessert, all for under $100. That's quite impressive for such a popular dining area! We will definitely return.
What a hidden gem! After a long drive, we were searching for a nice place to eat near our hotel, hoping to steer clear of fast food. After looking at some nearby options, we decided on Graze. I had my doubts at first when we arrived; it's located in a strip mall, and the windows are blacked out. But don't let that deter you! Once we stepped inside, we were pleasantly surprised by the charming decor, a lovely bar on the left, and welcoming staff. Our server, Candice, was fantastic—she was friendly and had a great sense of humor as we chose to sit at the bar instead of waiting for a table. The food was exceptional—I'd go as far as to say it was some of the best we had during our trip (we're from the UK on vacation). I had the citrus chili short rib tacos with a salad, while my husband went for the cilantro lime buffalo shrimp tacos, and we shared a side of pommes frites. Everything was incredibly tasty, and I could have eaten even more if I had the chance! We will definitely return if we're ever in Charleston again.
