Perhaps it's the awkward frontage road which steers me elsewhere, but never again! Congress is right up there with the best Mt. Pleasant has to offer.

Most authentic mole in town. We enjoyed the enchiladas and the delicate but rich rotolo, with housemade pasta, butternut puree, and egg yolk... more, please! The food the service could not have been better. Adrienne, an owner, was a delight, and our host Zackary was wonderful as well. Cheers to a well-considered and excellently executed experience! We'll be back soon!

The dishes that don 't look like appetizers are quite sufficient for a reasonable meal portion for one. In fact, some seem hard to share--divide up a plate of fettuccine? Messy. Very friendly hostess and server staff. Despite the hard decor, the restaurant was very pleasantly quiet and conducive to conversation. We 'll go back.

Perhaps it's the unassuming appearance that leads me elsewhere, but not anymore! Congress is among the top restaurants in Mt. Pleasant.
