Absolutely LOVE this place. Work close so go at least once a week. Just get half an hour for lunch/breakfast and they have to save me with time. People who work there are always very pleasant and efficient. Beats the posting review because it's the best secret kept secret and wanted to keep me. Can not be selfish, so finally shared criticism of this extremely clean, accessible and large small place. Some might think... View all feedback.
What Cooper McGlynn doesn't like about Betty's Eatery:
Cute diner and the food was good, but it was on the expensive side for breakfast. For 3 people eating 1) French toast, 2) grits, eggs, and bacon, and 3) a home fries bowl with sausage (drinks--2 sweet teas, 2 coffees, and an ice water), it was $46. The service was good as well and the food was fresh. Overall it seemed to be a clean establishment. I'd like to say we'd be back, but we won't be, simply because of the co... View all feedback.

Some might think little expensive, but after eating there, I think they will agree that it is worth every penny!!
The Flounder was frozen, but the Gries were good. I have the chicken and cookies. The chicken tastes sour. They were really nice about it and gave me a refund. It is locally owned and we will try it again for sandwiches.
The food was delicious. Restaurant very clean. Only what I didn't take care of was the order at the bar. Prices do not reflect this kind of restaurant. The staff seemed friendly. No lemon for water. Would still kiss back my geese was very good.
Overprice and microwave. Breakfast for two with coffee was just over $30. If the food was good, it would have been worth it. However, the country fried chicken and the hamburger both tasted like they had been microwaves. The cookies were boiled irregularly and burned. I asked that my Danish be warmed up... it was incredibly hot and soft. The cheese burned my mouth. My mile had egg salad and it was incredibly runny. Just good things: coffee and **** said the bacon and the eggs were good. The grottos were good, but the service was terrible. We were repeatedly told that they only make one way... finally found out that if you want to add cheese, they can add cheese, but they don't offer to do that if you ask for cheesy gooses. Seriously terrible. Will never go back. $30. About $12.
