This is a great bar and grill where you feel St home among friends. The bartenders and cook are so friendly and the patrons are as well. Its not a dress up kind of place, it's a casual, come as you are bar. View all feedback.
We stumbled upon this place during a recent trip to Pittsburgh to celebrate our friends birthday this weekend and we were extremely impressed with the great service from the bartender Gail. She was fast, friendly, and by the time we left we felt like part of the family. Even met and talked to the owner Don. He was a gracious and kind gentleman. We even had dinner reservations at a restaurant downtown, but we cancelled those just so we could stay longer at Don's Bar. The food was amazing and the prices are VERY reasonable. And to top it off, my friend misplaced her purse, but didn't realize it until the next morning which was a Sunday (they are closed) and I reached out to them at Don's to see if she had left her purse there and they personally stopped what they were doing on their day off and went into the bar to look for the purse. I mean in today's world most people would've said we'll look the next time we are open, but not at Don's Bar. They really take care of you there. I want to make this birthday trip and annual thing and we will definitely be stopping by Don's Bar again. FANTASTIC PLACE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Classic middle class neighborhood bar. Great food clean atmosphere non smoking. Older but lively crowd.
Always a great local spot to grab cold beers and food! Local corner bar atmosphere.
