So much to love about my local coffee hangout- other than it getting so busy during tourist season. Though don’t let the line up put you off as they are very quick. Coffee has never been below par. Fruit toast Baker Boys with honey and marscapone is terrific and good value at $9 for 2 slices and you can even order a half serve but why would you? . What Oldjack doesn't like about Via Battisti:
It has more character than most of the coffee places in Mt Martha but having been there before it did not have the character I had recalled. The coffee was good but not special. Still a nice place with great outdoor seating.Staff are friendly and service orientd. View all feedback.
A short walk from Mt Martha beach boxes. After our morning stroll on the beach we had a delicious breakfast at Via Batissi complimented with an ice coffee. Coffee beans used are Proud Mary hence tasted delicious. We sat outside but there are plenty of indoor and outdoor seatings. Our order was the scrambled egg and salami panani. Prices was reasonable as serving was big and food was fresh. The scrambled eggs was fluffy and goes well with the sourdough, the added bacon was crispy and wasn't dry. The panani was also a hit and uniquely presented.
We had a lovely brunch, great food and vibe and staff were very friendly and helpful.
The food is pretty well priced for what you get, probably better even. I love the cups the coffee are served in and how the saucer is made to fit the cup. Very nice touch there. Nice food, nice coffee, lovely atmosphere and staff. Thanks guys :
Cosy and warm on a winter's day, popular with locals, baguette fillings can be provided in gluten free bread!
Great place. Fantastic coffee, really nice food, good atmosphere. Service is really good as well. Will be going back for more.
