You just cant go past a decent sushi train. These guys understand the value of fresh tuna. Perfect preparation, and great value for money. Its very small, and it fills pretty quickly ... but well worth waiting a few minutes to get in. View all feedback.
What Charity Bechtelar doesn't like about YUZU Kaiten Sushi:
Finally light at the end of the lousy ramen tunnel I've had lately. For a place that doesn't specialise in ramen $3 sushi train FTW) Yuzu Kaiten blew our minds! Our ramen smelled amazing and looked the part when they arrived, one sip at the...broth and we squealed like little girls. My tonkotsu broth was amazingggg, thick and creamy just how it should be. Y. also loved her spicy miso, saying it was the best she's had... View all feedback.
$3 per plate sushi train although I ordered off the menu to get it made fresh. Service was good and attentive, sushi was made quickly. To be honest the food was average, the aburi salmon was dry and not fatty. The best of all I tried was the soft shell crab roll
This place is a hidden gem. Plenty of parking at the park (first hour free), you can reserve a table and order fresh off an monitor rather than picking it off the train. I hardly ever pick the sushi off the train as I don't know how long it's been going around and around in circle. The freshly made sushi doesn't take too long, maybe max 15 min? The place does BYO as well so make sure to grab beer or wine from home.
$3 per dish is cheap, considerably more so than other places, but the standard does lack slightly. Sashimi was generally fresh, especially the scallop, but the rice was slightly hard and bland. Slicing technique was sub-par, but it depends how much importance you place on that. dumplinglove.wordpress.com
$3 sushi you can't go wrong really! Great service and interactive tablets for ordering. The karage chicken was juicy and delicious as was the pork gyoza. Definitely a bargain and we'll be back
