What User doesn't like about Morimori:
This was the worst sushi we have probably had. The spicy tuna was the consistency of raw ground beef and was so fishy. I ordered two rolls and only ate one piece from each. It was so fishy I couldn't eat anymore. The only thing we enjoyed was my kids popcorn chicken. The fried rice with the kids chicken was decent but undercooked and crunchy. The menu says it's a 1.50 but we were charged $2.00, no bid deal but they s... View all feedback.
The first time in MoriMori, but definitely not the last! We fell in love with every menu item we ordered: the Hot Wok Tiger Shrimp; the Tempura Spicy Tuna, baked Scallop and the Banana Boot Maki reels were amazing. I ordered almost a few Banana Boat Maki so we can have it later! Succinctly umami. I hope they keep them after seasonal menu change. The restaurant was not packed (another customer during our stay, and orders to go), but the staff and our waitress were extremely fast and friendly. Definitely recommend if you're in Mt. Juliet!
Consistent food, relaxing atmosphere! Beware of some shady practices for payments (at the end of review) Spring Rolls: These are first for a reason. A MUST have and stupid delicious! SUPER flaky and golden fried shell with incredible umami flavor inside. Excellent dipping sauce. 15/10 always get EVERY time I go. Teriyaki Chicken: Good portion of everything. We usually start with spring rolls and if you get miso soup and the salad, this could be split between two people or stand alone as a filling meal. This plate is cooked perfectly every time! Zucchini, onions, carrots, broccoli are just beyond al dente but still have a crunch we take out the mushrooms. I appreciate the hot plate it’s served on which keeps cooking things and adds more flavor at the bottom to the entree! White rice on the side. It’s white rice. Other than being sticky enough to use chop sticks, not much on it to write home about. Sushi: Nicely priced “normal” (Philly, Cali) and special rolls are very good every time. Standard ginger and wasabi on the side. Yum Yum sauce isn’t the best. It tastes too much like tarter sauce instead of yum yum even though I add it to the teriyaki chicken which tones down the taste. Last dine in Jun '21 our server asked if we could pay with cash instead of card because the owner keeps the tips. My girlfriend had a similar experience during a take out order.
I would just thank MoriMori for their excellent customer service. I had no idea that Uber eats royally messed up my delivery until I received a phone call from what sounded like the owner/manager at MoriMori. He asked if I had received my order since multiple drivers stopped by to pick it up. I in fact had not gotten my food and when I checked the app it was saying it hadn’t even been picked up yet. I contacted Uber via both chat and a phone call and they could honestly care less. They would only go by what the app was saying. So they essentially were calling both me and MoriMori a liar. Anyways back to the initial phone call…with out me even asking, the man at the restaurant told me he would make sure I received my food. They remade my order and it was delivered. AND it was delicious. Customer service like this doesn’t happen very often these days. So I just wanted to say thank you.
Lots of food and super tasty! I ordered several items of sushi and they were all great. Definitely will order again.
We have been ordering from these folks on a regular basis for several years. They are a good compromise for us when I want sushi, which my husband will not eat. I generally get some sushi with salmon and eel and hubs gets a noodle dish or bulgogi. Gyoza and spring rolls also good. Always tasty and everyone is happy.
