Hob recorded a roasted smoked ryebel this morning and it was Celish. My long Mac was just as good. I think you could be a new coffee for me. The café was very busy, so it was waiting for a little long, but it's worth it. Full of professionals and mothers with stroller :) View all feedback.
What Fannie Marquardt doesn't like about Leaf & Bean Emporium:
Maybe we ordered the wrong food? we were not quite satisfied with what we ordered today. brioche bungalow was too crisp, it was not edible to have with otherwise nice boiled rührei and chodorzo. bacon was oily and carburized, although the fried eggs were perfectly cooked. other than that, good service, more cozy place, only not quite there with the means of life. we would try other food again. Drove pass this place and don't regret stopping to try the food. Ordered the Benny Beef which was amazing! The beef brisket was cooked to perfection, marinated well and seasoned for flavour. The poached eggs were done well too without it being too soft/runny or turning to hard boil. Meal was a decent size and was great from start to end. Service here was also a plus point and is probably a winner for me! Good job Leaf & Bean...
A friend told me that her coffee were beautiful. So I tried today and not disappointed. Very nice glossy Toby Estate coffee indeed. I had hoped to see delicious crumbled cake I saw on IG, but today's cakes were nothing interesting, so I went on. One day I would go back to beautiful coffee and food.
Love their coffee and the dense fruit toast. Hope to see more varieties on their brunch menu, however perhaps the reason why they are good as they managed to keep their menu simple. Always a pleasure to visit.
Food choices aplenty and service usually prompt even though the cafe can get busy on the weekends. Coffee is good, however having tried the matcha latte many times I found it to be always very bitter even when made by the different baristas, so now I tend to stay away from that drink when here.
