I had some time to spare, so I decided to grab a coffee. It was the best coffee I have had in a long time, with quick and friendly service.

The coffee here is just average and they only have takeaway cups, which they don't mention until after you've ordered. The coffee was okay but not very strong and had a burnt aftertaste. There are limited food options available. There are much better restaurants nearby that don't have the pretentious hipster vibe.

We found this restaurant based on previous reviews on TripAdvisor while passing through Mount Gambier. The barista offered us an extra shot in our flat white coffees, but we decided against it after a discussion. However, in hindsight, this may not have been the best choice as the milk overshadowed the flavor of the African roast. We think the flat white would have been better with at least half an extra shot or slightly less milk, but we may never know for sure as we do not have another visit planned at the moment.

Toastie and wrap quite tasty but the coffee order was, I believe, somewhat mixed up mine having sugar where none was asked for and fobbed off with "our coffee is quite sweet in any case".

Excellent coffee - small double shot flat white. Offered Italian dark roast blend. Robust kick starter which is nicely tempered by sweetness of milk. Relaxed, and quirky hole-in-the wall cafe roastery. ☕️????
