The food here is incredible and made from scratch. The breakfast dishes are fantastic. I’ve heard some people say the prices are high, but honestly, I don’t know where they’re eating because the prices are very reasonable. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mae's:
The food and coffee were quite good. However, I had to deduct a few stars from my rating because when I requested a cup of water, I was informed that they didn't serve water, and I would need to purchase it instead. It was the first time in my life that I've encountered such a policy. View all feedback.
First time here and it won't be our last. We had the breakfast burrito and the Tex Mex and they were great. The chorizo is very good and has the right amount of kick.
The sweetest little breakfast spot, with a couple of outdoor tables, and a lovely staff. Everything is delicious, but the potatoes are not to be missed!Food: 5/5
Give two stars as the environment is cute. Diced red skins over cooked with a bitterness to the skins? Not too pleasant on the palette.Turkey sausage has good flavor but rubbery. Asiago toast is good with a very strong/sour presence I would not pair with a jelly? Poached eggs cooked appropriately. Tex-Mex bowl had a bitter note due to the potatoes. Chorizo over cooked with minimal cheese. Toast is extra with this item. Notified staff of the potatoes being over cooked. I was informed that they go for a caramelized potato. Okay? They are very very brown! Not too happy to order at the counter and a tip is requested prior to experiencing service/food. Food is delivered to the table by staff. Water $1.41) and beverages charged by the can/bottle. Menu offers many different choices. Not sure I would return. Two egg breakfast with meat, Tex-Mex bowl, one order toast and a water $27.00 without tip.
Food is fresh and hot. Tables, and a nice window counter if you are getting lunch on your own, too. CAME BACK on a Sunday with my wife. I HAD THE BEST POACHED EGGS i have had from a restaurant of any kind. The Avacado Eggs Benedict were quite delicacies. The cook takes pride in his craft in both how good your plate looks and how good it tastes. The different sauces in their dishes never overwhelmed the items I tried so far. PICS of avocado Benedict and huevos rancheros as I got them. Excellent.
I literally love Mae’s so much! The food is always amazing and I absolutely love the atmosphere. Every time I’m stop by they are so kind and welcoming. They always give great recommendations to try something new. Jody is literally the best i’ve only been in a handful of times, but she remembers me by name and is always so pleasant. I think everyone should stop by if you have the chance!!!
