Awesome waitress and food! The pork sandwich was quite good, but the fried shrimp was perfection, and the catfish equally good. What Dell Villa doesn't like about Hwy 31 Cafe:
There was only one lady who was the same one who served us at the table and she served the food herself, and it didn't seem very clean to me because her hair wasn't covered and she wasn't wearing gloves. View all feedback.
Sure wish that the cafe didn’t close early today because I do heavy haul wide loads. They didn’t even make sandwiches to put out in the cooler. I had to end up buying bread and peanut butter and a cup of soup just so I could eat something. I wasn’t expecting to go grocery shopping lol
Tried to stop here. Unfortunately, the bathrooms were closed.
This place is a hidden gem. The service was outstanding. The food was great real downhome cooking can't wait to try the all you can eat catfish. Definitely will be back .
Just ate chicken fried steak was very good tasty friendly staff fast service reasonable prices will be back again ?
The best spot to stop for food between Waco and Corsicana. Got a double cheeseburger, chef salad, fries, and onion rings. The food was ready in about 10 minutes, and it was all very good! Customer service was great as well. Very quiet, inviting place. This is my new stop when traveling through. Definitely recommend!
