We held our daughters wedding in the rose garden at the Mt Barker-Hahndorf Golf Club last weekend and it was a beautiful setting. Our reception was held in the club rooms afterwards and they did a magnificent job. Thanks to the staff for a great night, especially Tim the chef, the food was fabulous, and Steph and her band of helpers. We could not fault the night! Superb View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mt Barker-Hahndorf Golf Club:
I have eaten here three times and each time it has been disappointing. I am sure that if one wanted casual dining in Mt Barker there would be much better places to chose. View all feedback.
The venue which hosted a 90th birthday celebration offered a fantastic view of the golf course. The assortment of finger foods served was delicious and of high quality.
I have been a regular patron of this restaurant in Mount Barker for four years. The meals are consistently delicious, especially the carvery on Thursdays and the full menu on Friday evenings. The club house has a stunning atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal. The staff are incredibly friendly and always welcoming, making you feel like a part of the club. They offer a social membership for just $20, which includes discounts on every visit. They even offer takeout options for those who can't dine in. Overall, a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant.
We have recently dined to celebrate my birthday and could not harm the food or service. we both selected from the special menu and thoroughly enjoyed our meal times, the servings were very generous. equal to desserts very tasty and a great dish everyone....We were delighted to see the number of smaller children with their families, and feed up to collect their color leaves and pencils to keep them entertained at the table. no electronic devices! would recommend the club for a meal for families or smaller groups, especially in winter when the fire goes.
"The clubhouse is stunning with a welcoming staff and well-stocked pro shop. The course has a new name this year. The grounds appear to be well-maintained, even if you're not playing golf."
Came here for a family dinner, we were shown to our table but weren't given any menus, after sitting at our table for 10 minutes we ended up asking a girl for the menus. We had been here before a year ago and the standards...have dropped terribly, the menu choice is poor and the staff working were so young and had no idea what they were doing. Food wasn't that great and won't be returning again.
