This place always looks quiet and we did wonder if it's because of its location or because the food might not be great. Popped in for lunch and had salt and pepper squid, as well as fish and chips. Very fresh, tasty and great price. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Bb's Cafe:
I have been a frequent customer of BBs for several years now, but unfortunately, I have noticed a decline in the quality of service in recent times. The staff are slow to take orders, seem unhappy, and the display cabinets are often empty. The prices are high for the portion sizes, making it a last resort option for us now. View all feedback.
We popped in to get a sandwich whilst on the way to visit our mum in Goolwa. I'm lactose intolerant and cannot digest mayonnaise. I asked for an egg and lettuce sandwich and a chicken sandwich. Very easy. So why did they put mayonnaise on my sandwich? At $7.00 it went in the bin because i couldn't eat it!,My partner had stale bread for his sandwich. What a waste of time and money. We will not be back.
We went as it is convenient but a little more private than the other option in the center. Going there for years for this reason alone. staff are nice coffee is average. i often have scones which are hit or miss.

The food is often ordinary, the service is slow and often they have run out of things which you find after you've ordered and paid. It is annoying as it is the only sit down cafe in the complex and it should/could be good. Sometimes it is good but other times.... We try it every few months just to see. Would be great if it was consistent and sadly the only thing that is consistent is the slow service. Sometimes that's ok if you have time to kill but often it's just a pain.
We stopped off at Mt Barker for lunch as tourists driving through to Murray Bridge. This nice little cafe had delicious fresh food served with a smile by friendly staff.
