How do they do it? Provide the freshest seafood away from the coast. Well I'll tell you! The owner attends the wholesale fish market several times per week and only purchases the best seafood. A wide variety of fish, crustaceans and shell fish are on offer, but you will pay premium prices. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about She Sells Seafood:
I have purchased fish for many Christmas dinners over the last five years, but this year in 2018 was a huge disappointment. The prawns seemed to have been frozen for many months and tasted as old as can be. I wanted to support local businesses, but the quality slipped tremendously this time. View all feedback.

I came visiting on a weekday afternoon, impressed with the signs painted on the wall explaining how it had won so many awards. However, it was closed.
If I'm going to Castlemaine, I always try to make sure it's on a Wednesday, so I can pop into She Sells Seafood for my fresh seafood fix. Run by friendly staff, the fish is fresh and delicious. It's not necessarily cheap, but you do get what you pay for. And we are in CENTRAL Victoria ie a long way from the sea
Had hoped to try here as it is recommended and not far from botanical gardens ans wanted to have dinner in the gardens . BUT NEVER OPEN : (
