I had an old fashion dbl cheeseburger with slaw and chilli. It may not be for everyone, it's a southernthing. A very busy place, food was good, service was fast price was very reasonable. I would eat here again

We found it a fabulous throwback to the culinary values of our youth. The place is so cute, no nonsense, clean and ready to serve it up. Service was fast andfriendly (NC hospitality), the food was tasty and filling and the prices were unbelievably reasonable (check out the menubelow)! No visit to Mayberry (Mt. Airy, NC) would be complete without a Big Pork Chop Sandwich from Snappy 's. Tell 'em Andysent ya!

Th... read more The staff here are the friendliest in Mayberry! I make sure to stop by every time I'm in town to enjoy the famous pork chop sandwich along with two hot dogs. The rich history of the building, the wonderful employees, and the delicious food make this place a must-visit in Mt. Airy. Be sure to ask for Kayla—she's fantastic!
