Snappy Lunch - Mount Airy

I really enjoyed eating here. Nostalgie, friendly staff. This brought back some childhood memories that go to town and eat lunch with grandpa. I had an old fashion dbl Cheeseburger with Slav and Chili. It may not be for everyone, it is a southern thing. A very busy place, food was good, service was fast price was very reasonable. I would eat here again

Wife and I stayed here for breakfast and some sights. We really enjoyed the food. The service was very good. Very polite. Not expensive. Worth the money. Our food didn't take time and was hot. Many pictures of Andy Griffith and more of Andy and Zelebs. I would totally recommend coming here.

Home of the famous pork cop sandwich. Super popular place. We waiting a little longer for the food than we felt was needed but when the food came it was worth it. The prices are amazing!!!!

Was like taking a step back in time. The pork chop sandwich is as good if not better than people say. A very cheap lunch, I haven't paid $13 for lunch for two people in a long time.

Had to stop here for nostalgia! Ordered the world famous pork chop sandwich all the way, double cheese burger, boiled ham sandwich. Prices CANNOT be beat anywhere! That?s a step back in time to begin with! Pics of menu included. Service was VERY friendly! They even moved us in faster to keep us from standing in the rain. Drinks came out quick, but food took almost an hour. Pork chop sandwich has gotten mixed reviews online and I?d say it falls right in the middle. Not great, not bad, just average. Couldn?t really taste the chili at all. Wasn?t disappointed by it, but don?t go in expecting to be blown away by the food. Double cheese burger was better than McDs fast food, again I?d say average, but good. Boiled ham sandwich was a slice of ham on a bun. It is what it is ? If you?re going to visit this town, you have to eat here and I don?t think you?ll regret it.
