Shocked and in awe at how rudely we were treated. I have been buying sandwiches at BGD for over 15-20 years. Lately, the customer service/vibe has changed drastically. Recently, our family stopped in for a sandwich or other deli offerings at 3:30 (they close at 4). When I said hello and started to explain what we would like, I was interrupted by and told she will not be making any sandwiches because she would like to clean up and get out early. Then she went on to say she has been working alone for three hours and is done. This information was not related to us in a kind or understanding tone. It was matter of fact and rude and basically meant get the hell out of here . There were dozens of ways that this could have been handled differently, ESPECIALLY to a longtime and loyal customer. One way would have been to put up the CLOSED sign. We were shocked and even my young child looked at me with a face to say, wow that was rude! He then proceeded to tell the rest of our family the story when we got home. Needless to say, our family will not be returning. There is no excuse for that kind of rude behavior. Period.

Craig and the crew at Billingsgate were the perfect match for our Sunday brunch wedding by the sea. On day one we told Craig that all we knew is that we wanted french toast at our wedding and from there he put together the perfect menu for us complete with cocktail hour hors d 'oeuvres and made to order omelet station! His staff was friendly and professional and even made sure that we got food brought over to us while taking post ceremony pictures. With one month left leading up the wedding we had to make changes due to dietary restrictions and Craig went over and above to make sure that everything was suitable for all the guests. A direct quote from one of our guests, I 'm so happy with everything that is on my plate right now!

This is the second time we have utilized Billingsgate catering for events at BHG The Masiello Group, and have been so very pleased both times. The hor d'oeuvres were delicious, the staff friendly and courteous, and prices very reasonable.

Food is delicious staff is friendly and prices are fair.
