Food is very authentic. You can easily tell fresh, top quality ingredients only are used. Prawns were huge, cooked in their shell meaning they were extremely juicy. The sauces were well balanced all dishes were wonderfully flavoursome. They clearly care about the food they serve and it was all delicious. Highly recommend. View all feedback.
Just tried Pad T”Aye for the first time tonight and the food was amazing had the drunken noodles with ribeye steak and chicken padthai the chicken gyoza everything fresh and bursting with all the Thai flavours you expect from authentic Thai food definitely be back.
Don't understand all the 5 star reviews? Neither do we! We were excited after reading about the best thai food ever, so took a drive out to the chapelhall location just along from Newhouse roundabout. I've luckily tasted some great thai food on several continents over the years and am constantly searching for some decent quality grub nearby. Sadly this place wasn't anywhere near the hype. Maybe it is better in different locations but disappointingly it was quite small portions of bland low quality food. The thai shrimp crackers weren't, they were just plain prawn crackers, the curry wasn't spicy, the sticky rice wasn't sticky, just overcooked mush and the basil chicken with pak choi was just a soggy mess. I don't know if the boss was away on the night we drove out and it's normally great, but I can only comment on my experience on our visit, it seemed to be a young girl doing the cooking with a guy who I think was the delivery driver hanging about smoking. I really wanted this place to be good and we were both really excited by the reviews but have now come to realise you can't believe what is posted here or the majority of negative reviews must have been removed somehow. I gave it 2 stars as the food was edible and if done right, would be a good idea.Much much sadness.... Parking: It is in a bit of waste ground with old scrap and steel containers so there's loads of space to park, just watch your tyres for broken glass!
We decided to try the restaurant last night based on reviews and previous good food from the takeaway truck a while back. We were blown away. Food was even better than the food truck had been. Everything was amazing from the crying tiger beef bites to chicken panang curry and the prawns in the massaman were cooked to perfection. Happy kids and adults with the kids noting it was now their favourite restaurant and ‘better than Mamasan’ in Glasgow. Will definitely be back. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options
Food was fantastic, cooked to perfection will definitely be back to try other dishes. Highly recommend for takeaway or sit in Price per person: £30–40
