Visgraat - Mossel Bay
Visgraat
Description
Perched on the waterfront, this seafood-led restaurant wows with stunning views, fresh hake, inventive dishes and a talented chef. Warm, knowledgeable staff and a lively bar area earn praise, while an extensive wine list and free parking add appeal. Expect occasional inconsistencies: slow service on busy nights, seating mishaps, outdoor tables needing attention, and uneven execution on some dishes. Vegan and kids’ options are limited. A charming seaside spot ideal for couples, visitors and families who allow extra time at peak hours.

The food is exceptional! The chef, Julian, is so talented. There is always something new and fresh on the menu. When I vist from the UK, we always dine here on multiple occasions. Such a lovely atmoshpere (we tend to sit in the bar area). Staff is very accommodating, always a smile and warm welcome. Highly recommended. Can’t wait for my next trip to try out their new cocktail menu! Service: Dine in

Our second visit, the first time delivered the best butter chicken I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The second was a hake chips lunch, which was generous in portion size and delicious. The staff are friendly attentive and the view unbeatable. I can highly recommend. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: R 200–250 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
