What User doesn't like about Minnesota Spur Steak Ranch:
We had a very bad experience this morning. We arrived there at 10.05 ordered drinks and breakfast. We then never saw a waiter again. Pass 11 o clock we enquire with one of the waiters about our breakfast. He also disappeard. At 11.23 we decided to pay for the drinks and then left. It was busy but it is not an excuse. We had a very disappointing experience this morning. We arrived at 10:05, ordered drinks and breakfast, but after that, we didn't see a waiter again. After 11:00, we inquired with one of the waitstaff about our breakfast, but he also vanished. At 11:23, we decided to pay for our drinks and leave. While the restaurant was busy, that's no excuse for the poor service. When we paid, the woman at the counter didn’t even attempt to apologize. We felt completely ignored. You won't see us again; it may not impact your business, but I’ll be honest about my experience if anyone asks. Best regards.
Wow, the rump steak was fantastic, and the service provided by Theola was even better. She seems like she might be one of the managers because she truly knows how to make guests feel welcome. Keep up the great work!
Unfortunately, our experience did not improve on April 30th when we returned in hopes of a better visit. Once again, our food took forever to arrive, and when it finally did, only 2 out of the 6 dishes we ordered were served. The food was still cold, necessitating another return to the kitchen. Regrettably, when it came back to our table, it was still not warm. It seemed to us that the waitstaff were not adequately trained and that there was a lack of communication with the kitchen. The staff appeared unaware of the issues we were facing, and we had to wait quite a while before being informed that the pork schnitzel was unavailable—an unacceptable situation that further marred our dining experience at your restaurant.
We are addicted to the Buffalo wings at Spur. This time around the size of the winglet portions were a big disappointment... The crispy onions made up to an extend, but that's not what we came for. Quality control on the size of the wings were definitely non existing.
With more then 10 Tables open in the Restaurant, we were told that we could sit, bit that we had to wait between 50 minutes and an hour to order. This is after we were made to wait outside for more than 20 minutes. The reason according to the staff are that even though there is seating, the kitchen is to small to cater to a full restaurant. We then took a 10 minute ride to the Spur in Hartenbos and had our food served in 10 minutes. Lovely view, nice location and I am sure the food is the same as in every other Spur. But if you have seating for an X amount of customers, you should be able to serve them.
