The snails were amazing! The wine selection was the widest I've ever seen. The main dish portion was impressive, leaving no room for the creme brulee. We'll definitely have to come back just for dessert.
I have visited Transkaroo about seven times now and have never been disappointed! Chef Julian's food is truly outstanding and offers a unique experience. During my most recent visit, I tried their prawn plate which consisted of 6 huge Argentina prawns served with a delicious green curry sauce on a bed of Basmati rice. It was absolutely delicious! The service at Transkaroo is always top-notch, especially during my last visit when waiter Franco served us. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine selection. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!
The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, with friendly and attentive servers and fantastic dishes on the menu. However, the portions are so large that it's difficult to save room for one of the delicious desserts. We will definitely be returning, as Transkaroo is the top spot to dine along the Garden Route!
Had an amazing meal here last Sunday. Service and wine selection is also 5 star. Our table had a variety of different meals on the menu and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals
