Not sure when it moves, but jam is now up with a beautiful Hamptons style fit out. it is a very nice place to retreat on a hot day, with art plants hanging on t... read more Not sure when it moves, but jam is now up with a beautiful Hamptons style fit out. it is a very nice place to retreat on a hot day, with art plants hanging on the deck and large windows that leave natural light and a view of the road below. eating is average, reminds of a time before hipsters changes the breakfast. very simple offers such as speck and ei toastie, cheese and ham croissant and of course, eggs benny, which for once I decided not to rehearse as I suspect it would be average. I chose a simple sourded with (a scrap of) avo, (very white, not high quality eggs) rührei and smoked salmon. again it is all very average food undoubtedly from the local super market, not attract the food, but it certainly offers a reliable caffe for the local. desserts look great, but again, look at the small kitchen, they also buy in. each for themselves, but if I pay for eating in a caffe, I want to eat there made with better ingredients than what I can buy/do. coffee: a little fruity, that is not my favorite, but still good.
