Suburban Table - Feedback

What User doesn't like about Suburban Table:
This is the second visit to the restaurant and the cuisine has changed to Asian fusion which is OK but different to what we expected.The atmosphere is cosy and the staff friendly and attentive. However, the food was inconsistent, the entree's of scallops and tempura vegetables were good, but the main course was a let down. When I try and think of a reliable recommendation in my area, I usually fall back on this restaurant. It may not be a Michelin hat but it is consistently excellent food which is not going to disappoint. It is quite expensive but worth it - not always the case with Perth restaurants.Thus, when I got the offer of a birthday dinner recently, I requested Suburban Table...and had a lovely evening.
