Lodgepole - Moscow
Lodgepole
Description
In Moscow’s Palouse region, a small‑town restaurant delivers chef‑driven, locally sourced dishes—standout seafood, wagyu and steaks—executed with precision and elegant presentation. Service is generally knowledgeable and warm; staff appear content under a tip‑free pay model, though pacing and managerial tone can be uneven and waits are possible. Portions trend modest and prices are premium, so reservations are advised. Ideal for date nights and special occasions for diners who appreciate refined flavors, seasonal ingredients and attentive, wine‑focused service.

Great tweezer food! Tweezer food has arrived in Idaho! I ordered the braised pork shank for $46 because I was hungry and wanted to have a heavier meal. And then the entree covered one third of the bowl. My 91 year-old mother ordered the same and had no problem finishing it. I told the waiter (nicely) that I was surprised to order this dish and an appetizer and then leave hungry. He said because it was pork they had decided to make it small. Nice philosophy to offer portion control for other people. And did he offer something? Mashed potatoes maybe? Nope. Went home and ate an energy bar and a peanut butter sandwich. I recommend you bring food with you just in case. Delicious food, went home hungry and frustrated.
