Tognazzini's Dockside 3 Smokehouse

Fantastic, straightforward seafood served fresh outdoors, right by the water with breathtaking views of the Morro Bay rocks! Dog-friendly with a nice variety of wine and beer options. It's a casual spot and the music in the afternoon adds to the experience!

Dockside 3 isn't just a restaurant; the front area with the boat entrance is one of the best spots to enjoy a meal in Morro Bay. The French fries are among the best I've ever tasted, and the BBQ oysters are absolutely perfect. The scallop ceviche, smoked shrimp, and chicken wraps are all delicious as well. We really enjoy Dockside 3!

Fantastic local seafood! There are several restaurants and a seafood market offering fresh catches straight from the boat. Much of the seafood is caught by the same owners, while the rest is locally sourced. They’re eager to share where it all comes from!

The 2 pieces of fish and chips as well as a small cup of chowder ordered. Expected that the fish are roasted deep, but instead it was grilled. Pleasantly surprised, the season and taste was great!. Fish was nice and moist, not dried. Will definitely be back for the grilled fish and chips.

Love the delicious and fresh Kabobs served at this dog friendly restaurant by sea. Great clam chowder and a wide selection of beers too! Sadly, this great location closed as of September 2018. There is still Dockside and Dockside Too (which is pet friendly), but Dockside 3 will be greatly missed!
