The Savory Palette - Morro Bay

If there was an award for best window to watch the sunset on the beach as the seagulls and the sea lions conduct their opera I would say its the Savory Palette. We travel to Cayucos,ca and visit this wonderful establishment. You can plainly see that this is the owner's dream and that they are living it. Go and talk to them about wine and you would not be disappointed. They have thrived through COVID and rightly so!

The restaurant offers a wonderful variety of wines and amazing grilled cheese sandwiches. The music from the band on Saturday night was also top-notch.

The owners and operators of this charming waterfront restaurant in the heart of the Embarcadero are amazing people. The wine tasting and beer selection are great, and the food choices are just right. They are willing to accommodate customers' taste preferences. During my visit to consider the venue for my mother's 80th birthday party, I enjoyed a grilled cheese sandwich with a glass of wine. It was an easy choice to book the venue for our party. The restaurant is the perfect size for our group, with separate tables, stools, and a tasting counter. The arched window provided a gorgeous view of the sunset, and they had AV equipment for our music and announcements. We were able to use their wifi for a Zoom call broadcast on the TV for those who couldn't attend in person. The staff wore masks and closed the restaurant just for our event, which was reassuring during the COVID pandemic. They also allowed our decorating team early access to set up for the party. We look forward to returning in the future. As a local resident, I will definitely be visiting again. Stay tuned for photos!

We stumbled upon this place and feel so lucky. We enjoyed a lovely glass of wine and beer while overlooking Morro Rock. This place is a hidden gem. Find it!
