Distasios On The Bay - Morro Bay

I ordered the Tour of Italy, which included Fettuccine, Spaghetti, and Eggplant Parmesan. We started with Calamari for our appetizer, and they also provided us with fresh bread loaves. Our main courses were exceptional – the Marinara sauce, Eggplant Parmesan, and Rib-Eye were all outstanding! The wine selection was nice and reasonably priced, much like the food. The dessert was simply amazing! Although I'm not usually a dessert person, I highly recommend trying some. We indulged in Tiramisu, Cannoli, and Chocolate Lava Cake, and they were all delicious. Additionally, we learned that this family is related to the owner of Rosa's in Pismo. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

My candid review: Although this restaurant is stunning, I was disappointed to find that each pasta dish contained only five noodles. What a shame! The chicken in their popular Marco's Summer Chicken Delight tasted like it came from one of those bags of frozen precooked chicken. Another letdown! Unfortunately, due to the small servings of pasta, we won’t be coming back. If we do return, we definitely won’t be ordering the fake chicken. My recommendation: rebrand! Create a menu that features generous portions of pasta, and everything will be just fine. Best wishes, Linda.

The service was excellent, and the food was incredible. The salmon and vegetables were truly outstanding, and the manicotti was simply perfect!

Had our anniversary supper here after spending the day touring the features of Paso Robles. I don't ever order lasagna from restaurants, but it was recommended by the waitress. It didn't disappoint. It was delicious, very rich sauce, very tasty meat. Service was good, waitress was sweet and helpful. The inside of the building was cute with the fireplace in the center. The owner came to talk to us, which I love about these family-owned restaurants! Hope to come here again!

This place is a real homemade Italian restaurant! The food is real amazing we tried a bit of everything! Their homemade marinara and Alfredo sauce makes each dish so authentic! They were short staffed but still made our experience an excellent experience! They were quick and super nice! The ambience is so exquisite as they have a nice indoor and outdoor experience!
